Yacine Djemaiel, General Director, Tunisia National Agency for Computer Security

Mr Yacine Djemaiel is a computer network and telecommunications engineer and holds a PhD in information and communication technologies. He is currently General Director of Tunisia National Agency for Computer Security. He has professional and academic experience in information systems security for over 20 years and is the author of several research papers in this field.

Wessam Maher, Chief Information Security and Risk Officer – CISRO, American University in Cairo

Wessam Maher is a seasoned CISO with more than 16 years of experience; He is currently the Chief Information Security and Risk Officer at the American University in Cairo. He passed through multinational and international organizations during his career, which gave him a wide range of experience and knowledge. In addition, he has a video blogger-facebook page that promotes security awareness in Arabic for non-professionals. Wessam has experience in developing information security and business continuity governance and communicating complex security risks to executives, boards, and non-professionals. Wessam holds CISSP, CRISC, CGEIT, ISO 27001 Senior Lead Implementer, and CDPSE.

Yasser Fouad, Group Director, Information Security, Network & Infrastructure, Telecom Egypt group

Currently he is an Executive Group IT Director for Information Security, Network, & Infrastructure for the Telecom Egypt group. Yasser Fouad carries more than 27 years of technology and business management experience, in, Telecommunication and Information technology. He is a Certified Project Management (PMP) since 2004 and is an active member in PMI chapter in Belgium. He lead various management roles in Europe and Middle East with Blue chip corporates like AT&T, Schlumberger, Procter & Gamble, and HP reaching the position Director of IT Services & Data Centers for strategic customers and Key accounts.

Adnane Ben Halima, Vice President, in charge of public relations, Huawei Northern Africa

Adnane Ben Halima holds a degree in computer engineering, he began his professional career as a research and development engineer at ST-Microelectronics before joining Huawei Technologies in 2005 where he held several management positions in several countries, including Morocco as Regional Director of the Wireless Department, Tunisia as Deputy General Manager responsible for Sales and Strategy for Tunisia and Libya. Having worked in most of the countries of North and West Africa, Adnane Ben Halima has a very good knowledge of the region and has contributed to the design and implementation of several important projects in the region, including Senegal, Chad, Mali, Morocco and Mauritania, which have enabled the strengthening of communications infrastructure in these countries and the provision of various services such as fixed and mobile superfast broadband access. Indeed, he had the opportunity to pilot the launch of several new 3G, 4G, fixed broadband and cloud platforms networks in several countries as well as the launch of new telecom operators.

Mohd Shamir Hashim, Senior Vice President, International and Government Engagement CyberSecurity Malaysia, OIC CERT

Ts Mohd Shamir bin Hashim is currently the Senior Vice President of the International and Government Engagement of CyberSecurity Malaysia, the agency that monitors esovereignty of Malaysia. An engineer by training, he has more than 30 years of ICT working experience in the telecom and IT sectors. Mohd Shamir holds a Masters Degree in Information Management (MSc) from the Faculty of Information Management, University Technology MARA, Malaysia. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri – Kansas City, USA. In addition, Mohd Shamir is a certified Professional in Critical Infrastructure Protection (PCIP) from the Critical Infrastructure Institute, Canada, and an Associate Business Continuity Professional (ABCP) of the DRI Institute.
In recognition of his contribution in information security, he is a recipient of the Information Security Leadership Achievements (ISLA) 2010 from (ISC)2.

He managed the processes for the cyber threat intelligence team (CTI) by highlighting the various hazards and reducing the potential of these hazards.
